I hope you all had a great weekend. Welcome to Week 2 of Term 3.
A reminder that we have the Parent/Teacher conferences coming up on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday school finishes at the normal time of 2.45pm and on Thursday school finishes at the earlier time of 12.30pm and buses will run at this earlier time. If you haven't already booked a time to see your child's teacher you can do that here. Bookings will close at 3.00pm on Tuesday, 28 July 2026.
Also coming up on Wednesday this week is the Coastal Cluster Football at Petane Domain. This will see our Year 5/6 students competing and some of our Year 7/8 students refereeing. Fingers crossed for a fine weather day.
Year 8 Camp Fundraiser
Our Year 8 team are holding a Quiz Night on Saturday, 12 September at 6.30pm. More information and how to buy tickets is in the attached flyer.
Year 6/7 Fundraising Day - Friday, 7 August
While the Year 8s are on camp, the Year 6/7 group of kids will be doing their own team-building activities. These will set them up for next year when they will be in Year 7/8. They have organised a fundraising activity to help reduce the cost for whānau. They have planned:
- Bake Sale and Activities to buy and participate in
- Mystery Bottles. You will be able to purchase tickets to go into the draw to win a bottle.
There will be more information to come, so keep your eye out!

Welcome to Term 3. It's great having everyone back on deck and we welcomed our new children and families to school this morning with a Mihi whakatau.
Parent/Teacher Learning Conferences are next week. These are on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 and Thursday, 30 July 2026. These provide a perfect opportunity to ask about your child's progress, anything you were wondering about in their mid-year report, and looking at what needs to be further developed in the second half of the year. On Wednesday school finishes at the normal time of 2.45pm and on Thursday school finishes at the earlier time of 12.30pm - buses will run at the earlier time on Thursday.
